Jaisalmer: In a new move to ensure that the ‘jawans’ don’t miss their homes too much, now BSF headquarters will allow newly wed jawans to stay at the border with their wives. BSF Raj Frontier IG, BR Meghwal, said, “This very demand has been lingering for quite some time as newly-married jawans are tied up with their duties and have to join soon after the marriage.”
This move was announced after considering the fact that separation from families hindered the work life of the jawans. This is one heartfelt announcement, because everyone has the right to miss their family, and every one has the right to spend quality time with their family
Soldiers are the heroes who spend sleepless nights at the border of the country, so that we can sleep in peace in our beds. They sacrifice their family life and never let emotions come in the way when they are on duty. While our hearts always go out to them, there was little that we could do to ensure they felt at home on the borders.
