New Delhi: Till now 25 lakh people have given up their LPG subsidy responding to the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has claimed that 22 lakh families below the poverty level have been provided with LPG connection.
The Petroleum Ministry has taken another initiative and has launched an online Gas application process named ‘Sahaj’ 13 cities including New Delhi and Kolkata. In this process, online application can be submitted along with identity and residential proofs.
After verifying all documents, the consumers will be asked to deposit the money. In this way, the distributers won’t be able to accumulate more money. The money can be deposited online or to the distributor. The process will soon be implemented in many other places in the country.
