Mumbai: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met top business leaders for breakfast on Thursday, and later pays tributes to the November 2008 terror attack victims and attend a Shalom Bollywood event during his visit to Mumbai.
Netanyahu addressed the India-Israel Business Summit at the iconic Taj hotel, and will later lay a wreath for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack victims. He will later proceed to Nariman House, where he will meet 11-year-old Moshe Holtzberg, whose parents Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg and Rivka were killed during the attacks.
The Israeli Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet members of the Jewish community at the Taj hotel, and end the hectic day by attending the Shalom Bollywood event, also at the Taj hotel.
He will later address the India-Israel Business Summit at the iconic Taj Hotel in South Mumbai. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will also attend the summit, sources here said.
There may be a one-on-one meeting between Fadnavis and Netanyahu, after which the chief minister will host a lunch for the Israeli premier and his delegation, they said.
This will be followed by a wreath-laying ceremony for 26/11 Mumbai terror attack victims.
Netanyahu will then proceed to the nearby Nariman House, where he will meet 11-year-old Moshe Holtzberg.
Netanyahu will later meet around 30 members of the Jewish community at the Taj Hotel.
Netanyahu will cap his hectic schedule by attending the ‘Shalom Bollywood’ event, also at the Taj Hotel.
