Naxals strike CRPF Camp in Sukma Again

Raipur: A CRPF jawan was injured on Friday after Maoists attacked a CRPF camp in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district. According to reports, nearly 40 Maoists along with local villagers had come to attack the camp. However, retaliatory firing from CRPF jawans forced the attackers to run away.

In April, seven policemen were killed and 10 others were injured in a gunbattle with Maoists. The gun fight broke out in Pidmel-Polampalli area of the district when a Special Task Force of the police was carrying out search operations.
