Naxal kidnap school student, releases him later


Jamui: Jamui district of Bihar witnessed a shocking incident when a school boy was allegedly kidnapped by suspected Naxalists and released later after making him walk in the jungles for three-four hours. He was told to ask the Principal and staff members of the school to vacate the premises within 12 days or be prepared to face similar kidnapping of students.

According to Police, the XI std student from Netiyar Boys hostel to Simultala Residential School at around 2am while he was sleeping and they also woke up another student sleeping by his side and told him that they are taking the boy with them.

When police was informed about the incident, they immediately launched a search operation for the boy following which the kidnappers released the boy and Teethi Chak village and escaped.
