Nawaz Shari is No ‘Sharif’, India Deplores Pak Violation

New Delhi: Days after the talks between Prime Minister and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in Ufa, Russia to improve the bilateral ties between the arch rivals, exposing its double standard Pakistan simultaneously violated ceasefire across the LOC in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Directorate General (DG) of BSF on Thursday briefed NSA Ajit Doval on the ceasefire violations by Pakistan. India had earlier in the day lodged a protest with the Pakistan High Commission over the two consecutive ceasefire violations by the country in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor sector.

In response, Pakistan’s Foreign Office summoned Indian High Commissioner Dr TCA Raghavan to lodge strong protest over air space violation at Banchirian Sector yesterday after an Indian spy drone allegedly intruded into the Islamic republic’s air space, violating the International Law, the country’s territorial integrity, the two Agreements of 1991 on Air Space Violation, and SOPs of Advance Notice for Military Exercises, Military Maneuvers and Troops Movement.

The UAV was brought down by Pakistani troops. It is to be noted that earlier the Kargil war was fought during the Nawaz Sharif regime in Pakistan.
