Kolkata: The 2nd International Open Karate Championship was held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium on Saturday.
Atleast 3500 players participated in the 2nd International Open Karate Championship which was organized at the Netaji Indoor Stadium. The Narayana School got 2 medals in 16 years (55kg) category.
Annesh Choudhury stood 2nd and Kunal Singh stood 3rd in the Karate competition. This championship was organized by the ‘All India Seishinkai Shito Ryu Karate Do Federation ‘. The competition started on August 5 and is scheduled till August 7.
The DGM of the school, Narendra Tomar was present at the venue. He expressed happiness at this initiative. He said that in his school, both education and sports are equally important.
