Kolkata: The Enforcement Directorate sent summons to Shreya asking her to turn up today at its Salt Lake’s CGO complex office on Narada case. But Shreya Pandey sent a letter to them and asked for some times.
Earlier, The Enforcement Directorate probing the Rose Valley deposit-mobilizing scam had stumbled upon bank details that suggest Shreya Pandey, the daughter of Trinamool MLA and minister Sadhan Pandey, had received nearly Rs 2 crore from the company.
The money apparently was paid to Shreya, a socialite who has dabbled in films and modelling, for designing the interiors of some Rose Valley properties in Calcutta and Mandarmani, a seaside resort in East Midnapore. Shreya has denied any wrong doing and said she was been targeted because she is a politician’s daughter.
Baisakhi Banerjee, along with former Mayor Sovan Chatterjee, visited the office of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and submitted some documents in connection with investigation of the Narada case. Sources said that ED had asked Chatterjee to submit certain documents for the sake of investigation.
The documents were being looked after by Banerjee, so she accompanied the former Mayor to the ED office at Salt Lake CGO complex. It may be mentioned that ED sleuths had earlier grilled Chatterjee and his wife Ratna in connection with the case. The former had alleged that his wife had tampered with certain documents related to his property. Chatterjee had also told ED officials that he was unaware of some properties owned by his wife.
