Nanur turns violent over TMC faction fight


Bolpur: Birbhum’s Nanur once again turned volatile over the faction fight within the TMC. One faction accused the other of bombing the house of a Trinamool supporter. Written complaint has been filed against 17 TMC supporters of the other faction. Tension prevailed in the area and huge police force was deployed in the area.

Nanur was tensed over the last few days due to faction fight with the Trinamool Congress. One person was killed in broad daylight due to this infighting. The house of the Trinamool supporter in Atkula village was attacked and set on fire by another faction for participating in Birbhum TMC district Presidemt Anubrata Mondal’s meeting. Bombs were hurled on each other by the rival factions.

Police complaint has been filed and the leaders belonging to the faction of Anubrata Modal said that complaint has been filed against rebel TMC leader Kajal Sheikh and his followers to the leadership. The leadership will be taking proper steps against the rebel TMC group.
