Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee n Saturday expressed condolences to the grieving kin of the victims who lost their lives in the derailment of the Puri-Haridwar-Kalinga Utkal Express, which took place near Khatauli railway station in Muzaffarnagar.
“Deaths due to accidents pain us all. Condolences to families who lost loved ones. Safety must always be No.1 priority of Indian Railways,” Mamata said in a tweet.
Earlier, 14 coaches of Puri-Haridwar-Kalinga Utkal Express derails in Muzaffarnagar’s Khatauli in Uttar Pradesh. 23 dead, 70 were injured in this accident.
