Kolkata: Within a few days of former railway minister Mukul Roy quitting Trinamool Congress, it seems the exit of his son and party MLA Subhranshu Roy may be just a matter of time.
Mukul Roy, the scam -tainted Trinamool Congress MP who left the party and joined BJP faced an embarrassing situation when his son Subhranshu Roy distanced himself from his father and expressed obedience to Mamata Banerjee. But everything has changed when Subhranshu wish to join BJP.
Today Subhranshu Roy , Bijpur MP, on Saturday, expressed his desire to join the BJP in front of the Media. Although he did not say anything about his desire. However, he has given several conditions to join the BJP.
“If the proposed railway coach factory of Kachrapara will be made by BJP and there is 30 percent job quota for the unemployed youth of Bijpur, then I am willing to join the BJP,” Subhranshu Roy told reporters.
Earlier, Subhranshu, the Trinamool Congress MLA from Bijpur in the North 24 Parganas, said Mamata Banerjee was the supreme leader of the party and nobody else was important.
