Mukul’s Fears Come True, Case Filed Against Soumitra

Bankura: When Soumitra Khan switched over to the saffron party, BJP leader Mukul Roy had said, “Immediately after Soumitra leaves, case will be filed and his aides will be arrested. A case will be filed against Soumitra.”

It seems that Roy’s prediction has come true. A TMC worker has filed a complaint at the Bankura’s Borjora police station accusing Khan of duping him in the name of giving job. The complainant Prasanta Mondal has claimed himself to be Soumitra Khan’s paternal brother.

Prasanta, a resident of Maliyara village, claimed that Soumitra took money from him in the name of giving him job. But he did not allegedly give him job. After this, he filed the complaint on Friday.

TMC leader Sukhen Bid said, “I have heard about the matter. Not only one but you will hear more allegations against him.”

The BJP however, said that it has been done to tarnish the image of Soumitra Khan. BJP leader Arup Dey said, “Soumitra Khan has come to our party because of TMC’s corruption. This is why it is a conspiracy to tarnish the image of BJP and the MPs.”
