Monsoon Session Of Bengal Assembly Postponed

Kolkata: West Bengal Assembly Monsoon Session has been delayed as Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will go for a China tour. The session has been delayed for one month.

The session will take place on third week of July instead of June. According to assembly source, the session likely to ensue from July 20 to July 31, 2018.

Reportedly, few bills of tourism, land, education department have kept on hold for final sanction. Those will be proposed in Monsoon session.

CM Mamata Banerjee scheduled to go to China on third week of May. She will visit Beijing and Yunan. The visit will focus on the industrial aspect and investment issues. So will not be able to present in that duration. The changed schedule will be informed to Rajbhavan soon.
