Kolkata: Mohun Bagan has roped in two foreigners A.Kromah and Kamo Bayi to complete their foreign contingent for the upcoming Calcutta Football League.
Last week they signed a contract with Aizwal defender Kingsley. The two foreigners will be seen playing in the green and maroon jersey.
Liberian professional player Kromah played a key role in Churchill squad last season. He scored 6 goals from 13 matches from the Goan side. Churchill defeated East Bengal in Barasat last season by 2-1 and Kromah scored one of the two goals. He scored against Aizwal as well but Churchill lost the match. Before Churchill, Kromah played for Peerless in Kolkata.
I league winning skipper Kamo Bayi aged 21, from Ivory Coast played for George Telegraph before. Kromah and Bayi both are familiar with Kolkata Maidan hence it will not be a problem for them in adjusting. Coach Sanjay Sen wants Brendon Fernandes, Rowling Rodriguez and Adil Khan in his squad, transfer talks are still on.
The Kolkata giants will start practice by the end of July. The Kolkata giants are bent on making a strong squad before that.
