New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who will be arriving at Abu Dhabi on Sunday in his maiden visit to the UAE has termed the UAE as ‘Mini India’ which is close to his heart where all languages and dialects of the nation are spoken by the 2.6 million Indian diaspora. This will be the first instance of an Indian Prime Minister visiting the UAE in the last 34 years.
Speaking about the deep historical link between the two nations, PM Modi said that he wanted to see UAE as India’s foremost partner in trade and investment as well as in countering terrorism.
Modi has also expressed confidence that Indians in the UAE will find their home country an attractive, stable and secure destination for investment and savings. Marvelling at the spectacular achievements of the UAE, he also described it as a paradise built up in a desert with unmatched vision and remarkable skill.
