Modi opens India’s national pavilion in Hannover Fair

Berlin: PM Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel jointly opened India’s national pavilion on Monday, featuring the products and services of more than 400 companies, and will take a tour of the stands of some Indian and German exhibitors. This was the largest participation so far by Indian companies at the Hannover Fair.

The two leaders later took part in the opening of the Hannover Fair Business Summit, which is devoted to the ‘partner nation’. The PM will then leave for Berlin around mid-day where he will visit a training centre of Siemens on the outskirts of the German capital.

And on Tuesday German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold detailed discussions on various aspects of bilateral relations and international issues of “mutual interest” at their official talks in Berlin.
