Murshidabad: The body of a BJP worker named Dharma Hazra was recovered from a pond in a village in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Monday.
According to sources, Dharma Hazra was a resident of Shaktipur’s Taldanga area. He ws missing since Sunday. After seeing the body, locals called the Shaktipur police immediately. Police reached the spot and recovered the body.
The state BJP accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of killing Dharmo Hazra, whose body with his hands tied, was dumped into the pond. The alleged murder of the saffron party worker came a month after two other BJP workers were killed in Purulia.
