Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister Kaul singh Thakur who had accused a Senior Himachal Pradesh Police Official of leaking the personal telephone conversations, has now accused Chief Minister Vir Bhadra Singh of political vendetta by not allowing police to register a formal FIR in the case.
He said, “I am victim of vendetta politics .It is very unfortunates that the police has not registered an FIR in the case to stop circulation of telephone conversations .The doctored conversations are damaging my clean image. “I had personally met the DGP and had asked him to register an FIR .When a minister is being treated like this one can imagine the plight of a common man”
He said that FIR into the case has not been filed despite his meeting with the Director General of police as he has been instructed by the Chief Minister not to do so.
Meanwhile the allegations leveled by him have been denied by the Chief Minister and he said that the state Government will be probing the incident and may approach the CBI if required.
