Militants Hurled Grenade At Joint Camp Of J&K Police & CRPF


Srinagar: A CRPF personnel was injured after militants hurled grenade in the joint camp of Jammu & Kashmir Police & CRPF 183 battalion followed with firing at Newa Pulwama in South Kashmir on Monday late night. The forces also retaliated the firing.

As per official sources, militants likely managed to escape after carrying out attack.
Reports revealed that suspected militants tossed a grenade towards the CRPF’s 183 battalion camp in Newa village where a detachment of the state police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) is also located.

The grenade did not explode. However, in a quick follow up, the militants opened fire on the camp in which one paramilitary personnel was injured. He was quickly sent to the hospital where he is being treated.
