Kishtwar: The army busted a militant hideout in Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir, in a joint operation by the Delta Force and the state police on Sunday. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the site. The hideout was found in Sinthan region of Pir Panjal Ranges in the mountainous district of Kishtwar.
The recovery include one AK-74 along with one magazine and 313 rounds, one UBGL, two .303 rifles, two .12 Bore rifles, two radio sets, two rockets, two mortar bombs, 38 rounds of SLR Rifle and 14 rounds of Sniper Rifle.
Forces following specific intelligence carried out the raid and busted the terror den. Sources within the security establishment said that at least 25 to 30 infiltrators are poised to enter India from the other side of the LOC. The pakistani army on the other hand had provided camouflage to the terrorists by engaging the Indian forces into repeated firing and ceasefire violation.
