New York: Tech giant Microsoft has launched its branded online store with major e-commerce website Snapdeal, which will include all products of the US based company including its phones, tablets, PCs and software. But it is to be noted that Microsoft is not selling its Xbox One or Xbox 360 on the store although Xbox One will still be retailed by Amazon India in the country.
In a statement Senior Vice President of Snapdeal,Tony Navin said, “We are pleased to be partnering with Microsoft in opening their online store on Snapdeal. This unique, self-contained store built by Snapdeal will allow users accessibility of Microsoft’s unified portfolio of phones, tablets, PCs and software.”
The Microsoft Store will be found at microsoft.snapdeal.com which has been customized to offer an integrated Windows customer experience. The store will enable Microsoft to manage product selection, promotions and launches as per need and basis.
