Kolkata: Metro Railway on Thursday said that the train services on 03 July will start from 01.40 pm in the afternoon, instead of 09.50 in the morning when the train services regularly starts on Sundays.
Also, the number of Metro trains operation on 03 July will be down by 30 trains as compared to the regular Sunday schedule of 110 trains. This is due to work for the newly built third platform at Tollygunge (Mahanayak Uttam Kumar) Metro station. Metro authorities have plans to commission the third platform either in late July or early August.
The last Metro trains on 03 July will however, originate from the terminal stations at their regular schedule of 09.55 pm.
