Kolkata: Alipore Met Office has issued an alert today regarding heat wave in Kolkata and South Bengal.

According to sources the temperature can cross 40 degree on Sunday and Monday. The heat wave is going to blow in South Bengal districts in coming days. The hot wind that has come from Jharkhand is responsible for this uncomfortable weather. The whirlwind in Odisha coast has become weaker, which has made less moisture in the air. As a result, the heat wave has become stronger.

Doctors have advised to take more water, use umbrellas and light shade clothes.
