Meeting with Modi is ‘satisfactory’: PM Shariff


UFA: After a one hour meeting with Narendra Modi,  Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday expressed satisfaction on the issue and said,”I am happy and satisfied with talks.” The much anticipated bilateral meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Sharif took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit.

Terrorism remained focus of the talks with both the leaders condemning terrorism in “all its forms” and agreed to cooperate with each other to eliminate the menace from South Asia.Modi and Sharif held the last bilateral talks in May 2014 in New Delhi when the Pakistan Prime Minister came to attend swearing-in ceremony of the Modi. They merely exchanged pleasantries during the SAARC summit in Kathmandu in November.
