Kolkata: The West Bengal Medical Joint Entrance Examinations Board is all set to release the results of the West Bengal Medical Joint Entrance Examination on August 25,2016, on its official website.
The exam is conducted for admissions into medical courses in various colleges in West Bengal. Earlier, 75862 students who were denied the opportunity to appear in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (Medical) on May 17 got a shot to crack the test.
After the ordinance signed by President Pranab Mukherjee gave a nod to the states to go ahead and hold their own medical entrance exams, West Bengal government is schedule the WBJEEM in mid-July.
“We have decided to hold the entrance test already. A date will be finalised within next week. Those students who had applied to appear in the examinations and yet could not do so will be able to sit for the test,” said a source in the health department. He added, “the results will be published within two weeks from the date of conducting the exam.
