Shillong: A dull, grey tie in Shillong saw league leaders Mohun Bagan relinquish their unbeaten record and leave empty handed from the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Shillong, as they were beaten at the death by Royal Wahingdoh.

The Royals aw themselves trail the away side as early as the 8th minute with Balwant seizing the lead, but they struck back through Jackichand in the 61st minute. Then Sony Norde gave Bagan a lead in the 80th minute, but rash defending by Balwant Singh saw him turn into a felon on thenight for giving away the penalty for Wahingdoh, as they converted through Theobald. Then Balwant saw a direct red card for his actions towards the referee, whilst Thockchom Singh smashed in a long-ranger to cpature all the points for thehome side in an enticing affair.
