MB signs Kean, Yeboha still kept on hold

Kolkata: Out of the various players who have attended trial of Mohun Bagan, Chief Coach Sanjoy Sen have so far given the go-ahead to sign only Kean Lewis.After scoring a hat-trick in the 1st practice match against CFC, though he missed a couple of sitters in friendly against Railway FC, he grabbed attention with his good ball control, sudden speed and getting himself into a scoring position inside the opponent box.

Since Kean has also played as the wing half, he has the ability to use the width of the field, making good runs down the flanks and sending inch-perfect crosses. Mohun Bagan has already released Shiv Pratap, Dron Bharadwaj, Kenneth Ehis and Jaison Vales who attended trial of the Hero I-League Champions.

Meanwhile, Captain Shilton Pal has gone to Mumbai to consult Dr. Anant Joshi regarding his injury.Hence, Debjit will be taking the goalkeeper's gloves against Mridul Banerjee Mohammedan Sporting on Sunday at Barasat.Sanjoy Sen said that he will take the final decision regarding striker Samuel Yeboah within the next 2-3 days, before the 1st game of the CFL Premier Division.
