Massive fire at Basushree cinema hall in Kolkata


Kolkata: A massive fire has broken out in the fourth floor of Basushree Cinema hall in South Kolkata. Four fire engines have rushed to the spot and is trying to douse the flames. A show was running inside the hall when the incident occurred and the audience who were in the 3rd floor of the hall were brought out immediately as a precautionary measure. Mayor Shovan Chatterjee has reached the spot and is supervising the entire process. The area has been cordoned off by the police.

It has been known that there was a library in the 4th floor of the building where the fire broke out. No casualties have been reported yet in the incident and the fire brigade officials are trying to ascertain the cause of the fire.
