Maoists Gun Down Two Villagers


Raipur: The Maoists have gunned down two villagers from Gadchiroli District near Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh border on suspicion of being police informers.

The incident took place this morning in Kurkheda tehsil near Kamtheda forest.

Last week, police personnel were killed in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur District.

Earlier this month, as many as 122 Maoists including 11 women, surrendered before the police in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh.
