Thiruvananthapuram: Actress Manisha Koirala is disagreeing about the recent ‘intolerance’ issue. According to the ‘Mann’ actress it is not true to say that the entire country is ‘intolerant’.
Filming the Malayalam movie Idavappathi in Thiruvananthapuram the actress exclaimed that, “It is not true to say that the entire country is intolerant. There are certain sections in the society may be. I believe in our culture and traditions. We should do the right things. There is a beauty in it. I also believe in the freedom of expression.”
Refusing to answer regarding the filmmakers who have returned their National Awards, the 45 year old actress also added, “Every soul has the freedom to live their life. I cannot force you to live according to my views. I believe in a certain liberal world.”
“Cancer is not a death sentence. There is life after that. But movies are creating a wrong impression about it. We can actually give correct medical information about the disease through movies,” said Manisha.” The Khamosi actress said who positively fought cancer was.
