Manish Pandey Replaces Yuvraj In W-T20


Mumbai: Yuvraj Singh has been ruled out of the ICC World T20 ahead of the semis between India and West Indies at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. Manish Pandey, who was named as standby for the injured southpaw, replaces him in India’s 15-member squad. (Yuvraj, who was dismissed on 21, was in pain after twisting his ankle during the virtual quarter-final against Australia and had to be attended by the physio in the middle.

The all-rounder had gone for MRI scan on arrival in Mumbai and was doing his rehab.
Pandey last played for India in the fifth and final ODI at Sydney in the bilateral series in Australia and signed off with a maiden century.
