Man Attempts Suicide At Rabindra Sarobar Metro Station

Kolkata: A 30 year old man on Friday attempted suicide by jumping in front of an approaching Metro train at Rabindra Sarobar, the police said.

The incident led to delayed services on the line. Metro services stopped for a while. Truncated services were maintained during the period between Maidan and Noapara , Tollygunge to Kabi Subhash stations in the city.

The victim was pulled up from the tracks. He is safe and sound, and sustained only some minor injuries.
