Kolkata: CM Mamata Banerjee is all set to visit the districts of West Bengal. She is scheduled to go to Rampurhat on February 8. On Feb 9, she will take part in an event over there. However, no political agenda or meeting has been included in her tout this time. But this time, Mamata has planned to halt at Rampurhat. She had always preferred to stay at Tarapith on her earlier visits. 235 hotels have been shut down at Tarapith for environment related issues.. So, to avoid controversies, CM has decided to stay at Rampurhat this time, feels sources.
Mamata will be laying foundation stones of certain projects at Rampurhat. She would take part at the ‘Mati Utsav’ at Burdwan and head straight to Rampurhat. She will also hand over the ‘Matsyajan’ project to all fish merchants infront of fish minister, Chandranath Singh. If she gets time, CM might also go to Tarapith for spiritual offerings.
