Durgapur: Air India Flight services to Delhi from Ondal Airport will officially start on 7th December and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be the passenger of the first flight, said airport officials. The first flight will leave at 5:45 p.m from the Ondal Airport carrying 42 passengers.
The Chief Minister had named the Ondal Airport after Kazi Nazurul Islam. Now she will be the one of the prime passengers on the Delhi bound flight. In next few days, Air India is planning flight services to other places also, said airport officials.
