Bengaluru: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee reprimands DIG Neelamani Raju as she came to Karnataka Vidhana Soudha for oath taking ceremony because reportedly had to walk a few metres, also expressed discontentment to HD Deve Gowda & HD Kumaraswamy.

While the oath-taking ceremony of HDKumaraswamy was a display of the Opposition’s unity, sources suggest that WestBengal Chief Minister MamataBanerjee was not entirely happy with the traffic arrangements made for the big day.

Sources say Ms Banerjee had to walk a short distance to reach the oath-taking venue — the steps of the Vidhan Soudha (state assembly) as some vehicles had blocked the route, reported news agency ANI.

A video that captures Ms Banejee entering the venue shows her gesturing her displeasure to Karnataka police chief Neelamani Raju, as the Trainamool chief walked on a red carpet rolled out for the visiting dignitaries.
