Mamata To Meet Victims Of Majerhat Bridge Collapse On Wednesday Afternoon

Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will come back from Darjeeling on Wednesday evening. Unavailability of flight’s ticket has halted her return from hill. The cabinet ministers have been ordered for disaster management purpose. According to Nabanna source, she will land in Kolkata at round 5:30 pm in the evening.

At first she will visit the Majerhat bridge to see the disastrous flyover. The locals have complained several time regarding the situation of the bridge but administration. But they did not give an assertive reply. According to the source, Mamata Banerjee will have a talk with them too.

She will go SSKM and CMRI to meet the victims of the disaster. At least 25 people have been injured in the mishap. The govt offered 5 lakh to the deceased family and 50 thousand to each injured family.

She will be back to Kolkata after the lay foundation ceremony of Darjeeling University on Wednesday at around 11 am at Mall.
