Mamata To Discuss On Ways To Remove Modi At Netaji Indore


Kolkata: In order to determine what ways the Trinamool Congress party will adopt to remove Narendra Modi from power, chief minister Mamata Banerjee has called for a meeting at the Netaji Indore Stadium on November 16, this year.

The TMC, through its party whip, has invited all MLAs, MPs, Panchayat pradhans, district presidents, municipal officials to be present on that day and attend the meeting to be convened by party supremo Mamata Banerjee.

Addressing a press conference, TMC secretary general Partha Chatterjee said that the party is keeping Banerjee’s slogan ‘2019-e BJP hobe finish’ in mind before fighting in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The slogan roughly translates to ‘BJP will be finished in 2019 (Lok Sabha elections in 2019). Mamata Banerjee has also called for a rally on January 19 at the Brigade grounds.

To make it successful, she has called for the meeting on November 16 at the Netaji Indore Stadium. Partha also said that Mamata Banerjee will be the main speaker at the rally. Keeping the Brigade’s rally in mind, Banerjee will discuss the organizational issues.

Partha requested all party MLAs, MPs, municipal officials, block presidents, district presidents, Panchayat samiti pradhans to be present at the meeting. Apart from them, 3 wings of the party – Yuva Parishad, Chatra Parishad and Mahila Sangathan’s representatives have been asked to be present at the meeting too.
