Mamata taken on opposition at Jadu babu Bazaar


Kolkata: Trinamool Supremo Mamata Banerjee on Monday took on the opposition at an election campaign at Jadu babu Bazaar in Kolkata. Speaking at the rally she said, “For 34 years the mayors of the CPI(M) didn’t do any work. It it rained for one day, the water logging would continue for three days.

She praised TMC mayor Shovan Chatterjee by saying that he has worked from the streets.

Speaking about the ongoing political violence in the state, she said that she doesn’t want any violence during the elections. She asked the opposition to counter her politically and not spread any rumours.

She alleged that BJP is trying to influence the elections by spreading money among the voters.
