New Delhi: Training guns at West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, controversial Bangladeshi writer Tasleema Nasreen on Sunday said that Mamata should learn from former UPA minister P Chidambaram and accept that banning her TV show was wrong.
She was reacting after P Chidamabaram said that the Rajiv Gandhi government’s decision to ban Salman Rushdie’s book Satanic Verses in 1988 was wrong. Also hitting at Bollywood actor Aamir Khan for his intolerance remark Taslima said if she would have never thought of leaving India.
Taslima Tweeted, “Mamata B. shd learn from Chidambaram& say banning Taslima’s TV drama series is wrong.She shd lift the ban& let the TV to telecast the series”.
“If I was in Aamir’s place, I wouldn’t dream of leaving India.”
