CM Mamata Promises Support For Purulia’s Development


Purulia: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee promised to lend all supports for district Purulia’s development on Wednesday on her administrative meeting at the district after coming to power for the second time.

Mamata Banerjee held a 2.5 hour the meeting at the Rar area in Purulia. She took note of all the developments made so far in the district. She enquired about the steps taken to develop the district which is lagging behind. She unveiled at Aaghpur engineering college under the Jaipur block. She had laid foundation stones her on 24th September 2013. Atleast 32 crore and 29 lakhs of rupees were spent for setting up the college.

Mamata Banerjee also inaugurated several newly built bhawans at the Sidho-Kanha-Birsa High School. She also inaugurated housing for youth s at Jaychandi mountain and the sub-stations at Electricity department’s Kenda and Saturi.

At the end of the meeting she said, “All help would be provided on by the state government for the development of the district. Several projects have been inaugurated today. Several projects would be inaugurated in future too.”
