Mamata-Modi Greets People On The Occasion Of Navratri

Kolkata, New Delhi: The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday greeted people on the occasion of Navratri.

“Greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of Navratri,” Banerjee wrote on her Twitter handle this morning.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended his greetings to the nation on the first day of Navratri.

“My greetings to everyone as the auspicious Navratri commences,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted.

The Prime Minister also shared a youtube link of a Stuti to the Goddess.

Navratri, which is celebrated across the country, begins today and will end after nine days. It is celebrated four times a year and the autumn festival, Sharad Navratri, is considered as the most auspicious. It is observed in honour of the feminine divine power.
