Kolaghat: Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee inaugurates and lays the foundation stones for a bouquet of developmental processes for East Midnapore district at Kolaghat on Wednesday. She also addresses a public meeting.
Among the projects to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister Today includes a power sub-station, Kisan Bazars, a marketing hub, a fire station, solar powered irrigation projects, government offices, a host of road projects and CCTV control room for Digha.
The Bengal Chief Minister also lays foundation stones for numerous projects including a college, a power station, road projects, river-bank renovation projects, a hostel and godowns for agicultural produces.
She also distributes benefits like cuclys under Sabuj Sathi, Geetanjali, Shikshashree, equipment for fishermen, agricultural machinery and scholarships and grants.
