Mamata Holds Administrative Review Meeting


Update: Mamata Banerjee has highly praised the work of food, Travel, Agriculture and Fisheries department with more than 100% performance. The Consumer welfare department has the lowest performance.

Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee holds a meeting with Ministers and bureaucrats at townhall on Friday to discuss development and performance review. Mamata Banerjee has said, those who have spent 100% funds are excellent and those who have spent 80% are good and bad to ministers below 80%. This review will affect the forthcoming assembly elections.

On Thursday, ministers along with their secretaries had sat calculating the expenditure of their enlisted departments to address Mamata today. The Ministers have presented their annual report of work to Chief Minister today at townhall.

Mamata Banerjee had earlier conducted several such meetings after becoming the chief minister of the state. The last meeting was conducted on November 6th last year. There has been a few changes in the rules of the meeting. Each Department has to provide their expenditure report separately. The report has been prepared by Finance department.

At the meeting were present ministers of all departments, secretaries, chief secretary, district collectors of all districts, Kolkata’s police commissioner, IG, State police DG.
