Darjeeling: Bengal CM today visited the Darjeeling Hills after a gap of seven months. During her visit, she attended a function naming Rohini Road after Subash Ghisingh. The CM recounted that Mr Ghisingh had a huge role in the construction of Rohini Road.
The CM said, “I am happy to be back in the Hills after seven months. Earlier I used to visit the Hills every two-three months. Darjeeling is a beautiful place.”
“Peace is prevailing in the Hills now. We have to work together, irrespective of ideological, political, religious or caste differences, for development,” she added.
The Chief Minister assured of all cooperation for the welfare of the people of the Hills and said she wants Darjeeling to keep smiling.
