Malaysian flight makes emergency landing in India

Chennai: A Malaysian Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Chennai due to broken lavatories. The flight was coming from Amsterdam and was heading towards Kuala Lumpur and made an unscheduled landing at the Chennai airport.

Malaysia’s state news agency Bernama quoted a passenger as saying that they were told that all six lavatories were working when the flight took off but then three of them became inoperable. A few hours later, all six lavatories could not be used.

As there was still a few more hours for the journey, the pilot decided to make an unscheduled landing in India.
