Malaysia confirms debris as of Boeing 777, same model of MH 370


Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian authorities have confirmed that the debris of the aircraft which has washed up on the Reunion Island of the Indian Ocean has been identified as being from a Boeing 777. The model is same to that of MH 370 which went missing last year.

The wing surface of 2-2.5 metres which is known as a flaperon was found on the island although it has still not been confirmed whether the debris belongs to MH 370 or not.

The plane part was flown to Paris on Saturday and was taken to Toulouse for a more detailed analysis.
