Kolkata: The Bharatiya Janata Party has appointed Kailash Vijayvargiya and Suresh Pujari along with Siddharthnath Singh as the new incharges of West Bengal unit of BJP. Kailash and Suresh will be shouldering the responsibility along with Siddharth Nath Singh as the new heads of the state, claims BJP State President Rahul Sinha. Siddarth Nath Singh has been appointed as the new party head of Andhra Pradesh.
In a major reshuffle, BJP has appointed Shyam, Jaju as the head of Delhi, Om Mathur for Uttar Pradesh, Prabhat Jha and Anil Jain for Chandigarh, Sarooj Pandeya for Maharashtra, Srikant Sharma for Himachal Pradesh, Nalin Kohli for Meghalay, Bhupendra Yadav for Bihar.
The changes are supposed to revive the party’s initiative to expand its bases in Bihar and other areas where BJP is still lagging behind some regional parties.
