Maggi is not banned in Bengal: Mamata Banerjee

Kolkata: Celebrating the 75th year of the Bengal Legislative Assembly, CM Mamata Banerjee says that Maggi is not yet banned in Bengal. The state has sent samples for forensic tests already. As of the latest reports, no toxicity or signs of lead has been found in Maggi. Hence, the state has not yet banned Maggi from consumption. 5 samples of Maggi have already been sent for testing by the state government. In future, more samples will be sent. But as of the latest reports, nothing has been found in the samples that will force the state government to ban this ‘two-minute’ noodle.
