Madrasa’s Strike Ended After Toha’s Interventions


Kolkata: The hunger strike of Madrasa teachers were ended by the intervention of Toha siddique before diwali.
Madrasa teachers Association was staging the hunger strike from October 1 demanding the inclusion of 495 “Madrasa Sikhsha Kendra” under Madrasa Sikhsha Parishad.

Furfura Sharif Pirzada Toha Siddqui ignored the MSK teachers strike and warned State Government for their negligence in work. He encouraged strikers and said “Don’t be afraid.”

State Municipal and Urban Minister Firhad Hakim was ensured to meet with strikers on Monday. After this meeting they decided to end their hunger strike.

The strikers also send the letter to the west Bengal chief Minister Mamata banerjee and Governor Keshari nath Tripathi to solve their demands.
