Kolkata: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has declared the Madhyamik Class 10 Results on May 10 on Tuesday at 10am.
Souvik Barman stood first with 683 marks from Mathabhanga High School in Cooch Behar.
Second – Ramit Dutta ( 682) , Third – Supratim Mandal and Anik Ghosh and they both have secured 681.
Fourth – Rajdip Ganguly from Balurghat High School, Aniket Mishra, Koustav Roy, Tanuja Das, Ratnadip Bhattacharjee. Their marks – 680.
Farhad Kabir from Manikchowk Shikhaniketan High School in Malda has stood eighth from the state and second from his district. Tamoghna Chatterjee from Howrah District School has also stood eighth from the state jointly with Farhad Kabir.
Amid utter doubt of publishing results on time, results have been published within 90 days. West Bengal Board Chairman Kalyanmay Banerjee declared the results through a press conference. Marksheets and all other documents have been handed over to the different schools.
Madhyamik 2016 was held on February 10. 11 lakhs 53 thousand and 432 students appeared for the examinations. Out of them 6 lakh 31 thousand 122 are girls and 5 lakhs 22 thousand and 310 are boys.
Students are able to see their results from 11 am though the board’s official website and through sms.
